Easter Sunday 2012

Easter Sunday was great like always.  It is my holiday to host and I love hosting and having people over to cook for.  This year the Easter bunny came while we were at church (aka my brother, Matt).  When we got home from church there were Easter baskets waiting and eggs hidden outside.  First order of business was to take a family picture.
Lydia slept through most of her first Easter, or course.

Then the kids went hunting with their cousins Kaleb and Sara.  Those lucky older cousins had money in their eggs ;)

For dinner we had the usual ham, potato salad, green beans with bacon, crescent rolls, and fruit salad.  At the table was Granna, Poppa, my brothers Steven and Matt and Matt's wife Jessica and kids Sara and Kaleb, Grandpa and Grandma Kinser, Russell's sister Jennifer and her husband Mark and kids Jeremy, Staci, Stefani, and Ryan.  The kids had fun playing with their cousins after dinner and the adults just relaxed.  For dessert we had carrot cake, strawberry shortcake, or fruit pizza. Delicious!

Notice how Jennifer's kids are all smiling nicely for the camera and my kids have hands in their mouths and looking different directions.  Typical.
