Book Lovers

Just a little milestone- but a fun one.  We took the girls to a book store for the first time and they sat down at the little table that was "for kids only"  and looked at books, including Dr. Seuss books which Russell is going to try to ram down their throats in the years to come, I can already tell.  (They were his favorite growing up and he wants to own all of them)  I don't really get it.  Anyhow they love books- whenever they are crying at me and I'm alone with them at home I ask them if they want to look at books and they immediately stop crying and point to the bookshelf.
Anyhow, we just thought it was so neat that they are big enough now to sit at the table by themselves and that they are actually interested in looking at books now.  They are getting too old!  I want my little twinfants back! (sorta . . . kinda . . . not really)

Aw, they look so grown up sitting at the table looking at books! That's awesome that they love books. Cute scrapbook page also. Your pics are so artistic. :)

I totally know what you mean! Ryan will now sit on my lap and read a whole book with me before he gets bored... I miss when he was all little and stuff :) BTW - "twinfants" is the cutest word I've ever heard!

Wish I could take the credit. Don't remember where I heard it.

I have to admit that Dr. Suess is my favorite to. I love reading them and the kids love when I read them to them. That is most of the time the 1st book they choose.

So cute! I loved it when Isaac got to that point. I just like that suddenly you have a distraction that will stop the tears. Hurray!
